Why I Became
a Therapist
My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by my own experiences with struggle and growth. But it was especially starting my own journey of psychodynamic psychotherapy where I experienced on the personal level the depth of discovery and change that is possible in the therapeutic container.
"I became a therapist because I learned that it is in the relationship with a trusted other, than one can finally begin to allow parts of the forgotten self to emerge, to be seen and accepted, as a path to healing."

Outside the office
I believe that maintaining my own connection to nature and creativity allows me to bring a more grounded and present self to our therapeutic work together.
I have been lucky to spend some time living in different countries which has given me insight into the significance of the culture's influence on an individual's life and how differently life can be experienced through each distinct cultural lens.
